I've been really happy at Wellness for Life (http://www.wflfitnesscenter.com). Added bonus, you can watch ice skating while you work out!The acquatic and fitness center is great, but they don't have free weights, except at the youth center.

The New Deal Cafe is a co-op and, from humble beginnings, is successful now. Community involvement means a lot.
