Hodgepodge Cafe, Uma Thai and Subway. Hodgepodge delivered last Friday or Thursday and the owners are super sweet.

Your comment made me think of Sacagawea. Her you are not! She carried a newborn on the Lewis and Clark expedition. I don't know how this was possible. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacagawea
Samnang S. replied:
My son was yhe same as a baby. I loved my ergo for walking around, cooking, you name it. I've heard Hodgepodge Cafe is a great delivery option.
Anita C. replied:
I was just introducted to Goodybag.com which is a service that will deliver from a wide variety of resturants. Also ROTR.com (Resturants on the Run) has a similar service.

A night club in Kenmore sounds just as good as the Tavern in Kenmore once called The Bucket of Blood.
Craig B. replied:
Agreed Leanne. About as good as the Monkey Spank in Mukilteo. Klass with a capital K.
Shannon H. replied:
Cafe Veloce (Totem Lake) and Lucia (Kirkland) are my favorite locally owned Italian. We had our wedding reception at Lucia and they recently opened a second location in Seattle. Cafe Veloce makes an amazing lamb lasagna.
Mike K. replied:
I'll vouch for Cafe Veloce, now THAT'S the kind of restaurant I'd love to have right here in Kenmore.
Dorothy L. replied:
I've been to Cafe Veloce several times. Really good Italian!

Does anyone know of any ice cream trucks that have a state park license? Trying to organize my little ones birthday party and it would be amazing to have ice cream!...

So here's a question from a guy that usually drives out of Kenmore to eat at a restaurant... What is your favorite place to eat out? Parameters, of say Route 104 at the...
Shannon H. replied:
Your boundaries are limiting and I will not comply!:D Honey Bear Bakery just beyond Balinger and Pen Thai just beyond 527 are two of our favorites. Also, since you stated no southern or northern boundary, Home Grown in Kirkland does a really delicious ham and cheese sandwich, Teddy's (just west of 527) does a delicious burger.
Amy J. replied:
Julio's is good mexican and The Everest Kitchen in Lake Forest Park is great Indian/Napali food. Also, Acapulco Fresh on Bothell way has some pretty good quick nachos. I hear that, right across from Arrowhead Elementary, in the empty building at the stop light will be a new restaurant going in.
Billie B. replied:
The Blazing Onion. Alderwood. bar is best!:-)
Jeff A. replied:
As long as we're staying W of the B-EH, I can't neglect Carolina Smoke (Bothell). But Kenmore proper sincerely needs more/better sit-down options beyond Tai-Ho et al.
Tammy H. replied:
Oh Carolina Smoke house ribs are awesome.
Jeff A. replied:
Laurie Edwards Adams yes it is, but about three miles out-of-scope for John's request. ;)
Scott L. replied:
Penn Thai in Bothell
Vicki R. replied:
Acapulco Fresh is nice for quick eats.
David T. replied:
I would also stretch the boundaries to include Honey Bear Bakery and Pen Thai. Within the boundaries, 192 Brewing Company and Butcher Shop Cafe (for takeaway).
Shannon H. replied:
Honey Bear has delicious sandwich specials. We anxiously await the return of their turkey dinner sandwich (it has stuffing on it and cranberry sauce on the side - happens in November) and their meatloaf sandwich (happens in the fall/winter.) And their cakes are delicious. And so are the strawberry scones, beary thumbprint cookies, and their ham and cheddar croissants.
Tammy H. replied:
In Kenmore, Tai Ho for sure! Close to Kenmore....Playa Garcia best Mexican food. 12108 Juanita Drive NE. Amaro Bistro, just opened in Bothell. Great Happy hour. Grazie in Canyon Park and Zeeks in Canyon Park. Last Rock fire Grill Bothell.

Door Dash?
Jeriann H. replied:
There is actually quite a few out there that does this and they are looking to expand. Door Dash has expanded. They deliver anything you want from restaurant food to car parts. Years ago there was Limousine Cuisine. Remember them Heidi? They used to come to Mia Roma all the time and would deliver to Micro Soft.

Acapulco Fresh is great -- the salsa is homemade and the owners are a wonderful family!
Karen G. replied:
Yes Ichiban is our family favorite for teriyaki, Hodge Podge has great sandwiches and a peanut lime sauce that is great on everything! I like the Thai restaurant by Key Bank and Ikiiki sushi!
Tim B. replied:
Ikiiki is the best sushi in town as far as I can tell. The Ocean City is my favorite. I have no complaints about them and we go there pretty often.
