I love Dr Singh at the Animal Med. Center on La Paz just above Marguerite (in Bravo Burger center). I have been going to them for 15+ years. They are honest and true, they do have boarding. 768-3300. I have compared their office fees to a couple others and they are (or were when I checked) a bit lower. They do care!

We have three dogs and have been very happy with Banfield Animal Hospital. It is located inside Petsmart On El Toro Rd, but they are not affiliated with Petsmart. We had pet insurance, but found it expensive and it never seemed to cover our needs. Banfield has several plans that includes all routine visits and shots. The vets are all extremely nice. No boarding.

Definitely read reviews. .we switched recently after absolutely horrible experience with Alicia pet care center. We had been there years Not just us- check yelp carefully. *especially if you plan to board with them. Animal Medical Center is where we will be going now as well was so happy and relieved to find them after MUCH research. No unnecessary vacines or tests were suggested.

I moved all 4 of my dogs to Alicia Pet Care Center this year and couldn't be happier. I love the fact that they don't do the Lepto or Corona vaccines (not needed here) and do titer testing prior to boosters. If you have an older pet like I do I DO NOT recommend Alicia Pet Care. We had a very very bad experience there recently. Had I not gotten a second and third opinion we would have been overcharged almost $1500 and most importantly, the care would not have been as good. Antonio Animal Hospital took wonderful care of our girl but they're in Rancho Santa Margarita

I took my prior dog in as an emergency to the Alicia Pet Care. I had an issue with them not allowing me in the back. I insisted on carrying him back and when I walked through the door they all turned around and stared at me until the assistant told them I was only bringing him back and would not be staying. My vet in AV always wants me to stay with my dog to keep him calm, unless he is doing the actual proceedure. I guess I prefer a one man vet instead of a group. The doctors seemed capable. Just not for me.

I recommend Laguna Hills Animal Hospital in Laguna Hills on El Toro. Have been with them since my dog was 6 weeks old and she is almost 9 years old now. All the vets are very knowledgeable and the staff is great.
