My doxies get their nails done at Shaffers Animal Hospital, 18.00 My hubby used to do it, but always ended up going to far on one of their nails.

Petsmart has been charging us $21 every time we go! Grrrr! Mitchell Hammock is the place where we stopped going because she smelled musty when we picked her up the last 3 times and we found a nail had been skipped, 2 had been split ( which I understand but tell us please) and on tip of that they were very sharp/ not ground or filed like we asked, also it felt like we were pressured to always do more and spend more despite explaining we weren't interested. I swear I've had the worst luck the past few weeks lol! Time to give someone new a try. Kari do you work somewhere local? We want her to feel more comfortable when she walks and also not go broke.

Mitchell Hammock Pet Hospital on Alexandria does specials every Thu & Fri. I take my cat...it's only $12 for ears, nails, and shampoo. $5 to brush her teeth she goes every 3 weeks and loves it! I'm not sure what price for Dogs but you can call and ask. As far as Pet Boutique (sp?) my mom ONLY goes there for her cat...but again not sure about dogs.

Pet Lodge on Tuskawilla has a good groomer. Much cheaper, like $30. She even brushes teeth. We moved closer to downtown so stopped going there.

We've used Pet Bowtique for years and love them. We have one dog they couldn't get to come out of the cage when we took her in and they called us to ask for suggestions, asked if we wanted them to keep trying and we're very apologetic when I came to get her. They even had me come in the back and get her out of the cage myself because she was so upset. I wasn't thrilled that I couldn't get her groomed but I was very happy with how they handled it.

The tech at my vet, Dr. Moja, bathed and shaved my very long-haired, very big calico, cleaned her ears and trimmed her nails. Of course, she was unconscious at the time!

Barbara Dazzles, Central Florida Animal Hospital right behind Aldi's on Alafaya. My cat was all matted and wouldn't let me brush her, so I called and they offered this service. She came back a little miffed, but clean and beautiful...!

I take Coco my little Shitzu to GoDogs. They are part of Shaffer Animal Hospital. They are pretty reasonable compared to other places. They have always done a nice job on Coco.
