We have a wonderful group of paediatricians in town. Dr. Earl, Dr. Chaudhry, Dr. Leccese, Dr Malks-Jjumba, Dr. Miller, and of course, Dr. Abelson. Depending on your needs, you would need a new referral if there is 6 months between visits so you can always request a referral to another one for the next time.
Crystal N. replied:
Dr. Abelson 100%. He has been seeing my son since he was 6 mths old.
Jennifer B. replied:
Not many people can handle him but he's the best. Dr Abelson.
Johnna S. replied:
We had Dr. Chaudhry while in Paeds right after my little one was born. He was amazing! He was so amazing with my newborn and great at explaining things with my husband and I being worried new parents.
Cherie B. replied:
Dr. Miller is amazing. She is direct, confident and friendly. She really takes a personal interest in all her little patience.

Dr Ableson has been great with our daughter. Got us into see a dietitian the same day when some people wait months. He has been really good at talking to specialists as well when needed. He can be a bit abrupt but I can take it if my kid gets good care.

You have to get referred to a pediatrician but if you are able to tell your doctor about a specific one they usually will refer you to that one. My son is currently with Dr. Hay and she is amazing. Very thorough with information and she is gentle and my son seems to really like her.
Diana M. replied:
Dr. Marie Hay
Sarah B. replied:
We had two. The first one we did not like, at all. The same day he assessed my daughter, we ended up in er with an asthma attack. I was thankful when we were told he was moving his practice out of town. When we went back to our Dr for another referral, I had asked if at all possible for Dr Haye as she was a family members paeidtrician and my doctor referred us to her and she took my daughter on. I highly recommend Dr Haye if you can. She was great with my daughter as well as never let us leave with anything unanswered!
Haley R. replied:
Misty Unrau is right, you need a referral to get a pediatrician. .. however I absolutely love DR. Earl! Stay away from Dr.A ..

Kristy H. replied:
We did see Dr Yu, she wasn't at BCCH, she has an office on W Broadway, but she was quite good. We've had good luck with Dr Stark as well, and I actually prefer him to Dr Yu.
