We just had private assessment and got direction on things to work on at home for our school age child. We saw Beata Polanska. I see her contact info is above. PM me if you want to know her hourly rate.

https://www.facebook.com/gigisspeechtherapy/ For preschool aged children, refer them yourselves to the health unit. An initial screen (free) can give you valuable information regarding recommendations on what parents can focus on. There are 4(?) Of us in town who offer private speech therapy. I've posted my page here, but you can go to www.bcaslpa.ca and do a search for private SLP. You need to select location and age group. The recommended rate is $120/hr but it does range from $100 to $150+ across the province.

Call the northern health speech clinic at the health unit (565-7370) to see if the appointment is there. If it’s not there it could be at the Child Development Center
