Hello, does anyone have any suggestions or tips for using a shipping container company from the NJ area? We really would like to bring our small kitchen...

I also used Mike Rappaport - he shipped our Honda Pilot with some household items inside. I would recommend him - I see that someone else already gave you his contact info!

I'll be another person to recommend Mike Rappaport@Logistic Managment. He's the best I know of.

I was very happy with the services of Mike Rappaport who handled our moving needs. He is available by phone or email. He can arrange trucking from your home to his warehouse in Florida, then shipping to Costa Rica. He takes care of all Customs requirements too! Years ago I used WTX Global and we shipped 3 cubic meters of stuff. You don't have to have a whole container if you don't need the space. Back then a lot of the stuff I brought was not available here in CR but nowadays you can get just about anything you need!

This is my shipper for 13 years. door to door never a problem Its Hermanos Barquero 908-522-4560 in New Jersey and 2442-6929 in Alajuela, they ship cars and do the paper work too
Carina M. replied:
It all depends on the product as to whether Amazon will directly ship to Costa Rica, it should state that on the product page or they will tell you that once you confirm your delivery address. However I find the cheapest way is to use Box Correos (part of Correos de Costa Rica) and they can deliver to a Correos of your choice. I have found them the cheapest plus on their website you can use their calculator to understand the end cost including customs fee, taxes and freight.
Jamie M. replied:
Contact American Export. They are the cheapest and the best. All paperwork and and import fees are done when you pick it up. I ship a lot of stuff with them and have never thought it was expensive
I am looking for shipping companies that ship boxes between Florida and Costa Rica that are reliable and ship on a regular basis. Can anyone help direct me to one?...
