Is there an emergency vet in whistler? Everything I've looked up on line says no but there has got to something!? My poor Bengal kitty is not acting right :(

Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinc@604-734-5104. its the 24 hour number... maybe you can tell them whats going on with Odin and they can tell you if he is ok to wait until the Whistler Clinic opens, or if you need to get him somewhere pronto! Best of luck!

Dr Julie Mountifield at Eagleview vet in Squamish knows bengals well and she is terrific. Hope your kitty gets better soon!
Tanya C. replied:
If they think it's a heart condition I highly recommend a referral to the cardiologist at Canada West Vet Specialists. Could be a few things though so you're going about it the right way with a regular vet visit first.

Hope Odin is okay

Well I just tried to give him a treat and he's not going for it. He also won't even move for his fat rat his fave toy! Apparently HMC is common in bengals and now I'm up worried and can't go back to sleep. I hope it was a spider! My poor little boy:(

I had the same issue 4 weeks ago on a Sunday morning. I left messages with all the local vets who were all closed but nobody ever returned my call. I ended up having to drive down to Vancouver and I went to Burrard Animal Hospital(604-738-5683). They don't charge the $500 emergency fee before they even examine your pet that other emergency clinics charge and they were fantastic!
Our sweet Olive is snuggling with her stuffie and recovering from a very intensive surgery. She had two large tumours removed. Thank you to our amazing vet in Pemberton...
