Anyone have a recommendation for local adult primary care physician that actually listens to their patient?
Dori W. replied:
None around here will listen!!! I tried many from around here and other parts but I can promise you there is one that will!!! Dr Kimberly Kaye in Gainesville Fl...she is in Haile Plantation. Give her a call and tell her I referred you...352-367-9602. You will have to make an appt with Beth first for a screening and then see Dr Kaye, she treats a lot of people from Levy County because she believes something is very wrong here, she saved my life!! When and if you go to see her just know on the day that you actually see Dr Kaye you might be there a while, she spends a lot of time with her patients!!

Looking for a doctor that specializes in back problems. One that will LISTEN to the patient and take them seriously.
Donna M. replied:
Wade Wade Sibert, great people at the Southeastern Spine Institute. I have been there. Very good. That was several years ago. My neurosurgeon was in Carleston, SC as well. Jason Highsmith, he did neck surgery on me! Awesome. I sometimes think if I need anything it is worth going back there.
Vicki J. replied:
I recommend Dr. Stephen Reid in Gainesville. I had neck surgery several years ago. I went to several other doctors who wanted to give me pain pills instead of finding out what the problem was. I had an MRI and made an appointment with Dr. Reid. He took one look at it and said I needed surgery. I was skeptical at first but after he showed me my problem on the MRI I could actually see for myself. If he can't help you, he will tell you he can't help you. He only uses cadaver bone (no metal). I had a great outcome and woke up pain free for the first time in many years. He specializes in back, neck, brain and wrist (or he did at that time).
Toni P. replied:
Dr Khan.
Wade S. replied:
I would recommend southeastern Spine Institute in Charleston South Carolina. who are the people that develop the tools used in back and neck surgeries. And believe in fixing the problem so you can have a normal life not a life of living on pain pills
Edward W. replied:
anyone that would go to pain management is nuts, they will not cure the problem and unless you have a MRI then you are wasting your time DR. TRIMBLE is a very good surgeon and listens to you, so whoever had trouble with him is nutso
Lorri H. replied:
Innovative Back Solutions, Dr. Ruano352-505-3993
Donna M. replied:
Avoid Orthopedic Institute. All they want to do is cut on you. They don't listen either. Poor bedside manners. Acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. Got mad when I asked for a consult to Pain management. Refused to refer me. Found help on my own.
Donna M. replied:
I ended up at Advanced Pain Management in Jonesville, also back to Chiropractor with great results. Far from perfect, but I am able to walk up to 4 miles. I was barely able to walk to and from mailbox before.

Regional General Hospital has a rural health clinic with a Gyn physician and that dame clinic also has primary care physicians as well. The lab at the hospital does out patient blood work and can handle anything that most any physician would order. Give them a call. Like · 2 · Yesterday at 2:40 am
