Kelli K. replied:
David Feldkamp is awesome and very reasonable! He was the lowest rate lawyer I could find and did an awesome job at my custody battle! Free consultation! Located on Dixie across from the government center # 502-933-1615
Just in case: Do I have anyone on my friendslist, or maybe their spouse/friend/ect who is a family lawyer or social worker (real govt kind) to chat?

We deal with this kind of thing all the time. Alicia Harris, I am a legal assistant for a lawyer who has been practicing law for over 25 years. She is licensed to practice law in three different states and I would argue that 80% of the cases/matters she/we handle are based in family law. If you have any questions you can feel free to message me and I will try to answer what I can based on what I've seen/dealt with in the 1+ year I've worked with her. Also, she is always willing to do consultations. I'm not sure where you're from, but the lawyer I work for has an office based in Marshall, MI. It's about 15 minutes away from Battle Creek area. The one thing I can tell you 150% if you are trying to get custody of children (or dealing with any legal matter involving children) you NEED to get a lawyer to represent you. In my experiences cases involving children and Michigan's Central Registry are the hardest cases with the highest standards for resolution. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you seek legal counsel for these things!

Liz Lyons, because of the situation I'm scared to contact public branches until I know he'll be mine. I don't want him in foster care until things get settled. He's still dealing with a lot.
