  Hello Neighbors, My name is Ken and I am new to this group! I am in search of a good, reasonably priced plumber. I have a gas line the is currently running outside an interior wall, and I want it moved to inside the wall so it will be out of sight, not to mention much safer. I called one company, Service Professionals, and they said they would send someone over on Monday to do the work. I asked how much? They said they would tell me then. I asked what if the price is too high. I was told that I would have to pay a 59.00 service call fee plus tax. just for the visit. However, if I choose to go through with their job, the 59 would be deducted from my bill. Not real comfortable about this. I asked about free estimates, and apparently they had never heard of this? I feel as though by charging, they can set whatever price they want and always be guaranteed at least 59 dollars. Am I wrong in my reasoning? Recommendations or thoughts neighbors?   Joe Koeppel (732-291-0890) is semi-retired. He'll do light work like faucet installation, etc. He has recommended one of his workers (can't find the letter). Call the office and they'll give details.
