I found Coffey Bros. Moving on Yelp and hired them for my 2 bedroom move based on their good reviews. Cost was a factor as well, the estimate I received was $100 below the competition.
First and foremost, the customer service that they provided from the very beginning and to the end, was outstanding! I had a difficult move, having to deal with 2 closings on different dates, and having to reschedule multiple times. Despite this, Coffey Bros was very accommodating and tailored the move to my needs. Every time I contacted the office, they were professional and friendly. And my moving coordinator Tina, was always energetic and responsive.
Second, the moving service that they provided was phenomenal! The movers showed up on moving day on time and got to work right away. They were professional and courteous the whole time, making sure that my needs were met. To be honest, I wasn't quite ready, as I didn't have everything packed, and was stressed out to the max. However, it was no problem for the 2 movers. They quickly packed up my clothes and dishes without a sweat. In addition, they wrapped my furniture, loaded and unloaded the truck in record breaking time. 2 years ago I moved with one of their competitors, and the move took twice as long, and cost twice as much.
After the move, Tina, my moving coordinator called to see how everything went. I told her that everything went smooth and that the movers were great. She took payment over then phone, and then to my surprise, congratulated and blessed me and my new home. To no avail, the team at Coffey Bros. Moving has Christian roots. And as a devout Christian myself, I couldn't be more happy!
Coffey Bros. Moving is a Superb moving company! They earned a 5 star review for providing a 5 Star service!
Looking for movers June 30? Hey, my roommate and I are looking for movers the afternoon of June 30, any ideas? We've tried Bernard's Movers, Collins Family, Move-tastic.. I figured it would be tight that day but surprised how booked everything is.

I used [Coffey Bros Moving](http://coffeybrosmoving.com/) a few years ago. They were good and had decent rates.
What's your recommendations on moving companies for first time movers? So I'm moving into the city this weekend from the suburbs. I've been comparing rates from a few companies, (New City, Ampol, Chicago Movers) And both were at least over $300. I don't have much to move and my budget is anything less than $300. I wanted to use U-Haul, but I don't know anyone willing to help me dismantle the few furniture pieces I have and help me drive to my new apartment.
Could anyone give me some more recommendations on moving companies and why?

Most moving companies give you a quote based on how many hours it will take. [Coffey Bros](http://www.coffeybrosmoving.com/), the company I used a year and a half ago, charged $80/hr for a truck and two guys, and it only took three hours. Sure, we only moved 10 blocks, and I helped loading and unloading, but it was only $240 before the tip. Loading up a truck in the burbs, driving to the city, and then unloading will probably be four or five hours, depending on how much stuff you have (+ weekend traffic?).
