  Looking for some dental recommendations and wondering if any moms have any experience with their children getting expanders or spacers. My daughter is 7 but I have a friend who is a dentist and thinks she could definitely get them now in hopes of not having to do the braces thing later. I would go to her but she's out of town and I don't want to be travelling back and forth all the time if they need adjusting or come uncemented, so I'm trying to find a dentist in either sylvan or red deer that would do this. It seems like most dentists are of the school of thought to wait until they are teens and just give them braces, which is way more expensive and harder on the kid. Anyone have any experience with this?
