  Wife and I are moving to Fort Collins area in a few months and am looking for a Real Estate agent to help find a home. I was offered a job in Fort Collins and will be moving once my house in Austin, TX is sold. We have never been to Fort Collins and we need someone to help us get to know the area, all we know is not to move to Greenly. They will be flying us out there next month some time to look around and would love to line up an agent before then. I figured a fellow Redditor may know someone or is that someone that can help us out. Also: If anyone has tips on where to buy a house around 145,000 to 160,000 please let us know. Edit: Added a few things and we will be out for a few hours but will check back later tonight thanks in advance to any advice on Realtor's and please any advice you can give us about the area would help a lot.

By the way, I have some friends from Austin that moved to Denver, that have actually said this place was more kick ass. Good luck! EDIT: By the way, the housing market is pretty fierce, we have found. For your price range, you might be able to find a nice home a bit further out from the old town area, but the closer you get in, the higher and more competitive it gets. Also, you are coming at a perfect time, as the market is about to open up with a ton of more options that we had. Just know that houses go fast here, so you really have to be quick when you see the one you want.
