About us
From birth it has been instilled in me to treat others with kindness and respect; to “Do unto others as you would want to be done unto you.” I carry this mentality through all aspects of life: including my business. I take this very personally and very seriously. If you’re looking for someone to snap photos and only do just that.. I am not your photographer. Instead of going on about myself and who I am in a summary of beautifully articulated words with hints of sarcasm and endearment - I will do this.. Tell you what I want. I want someone who is interested in my story. Someone who cares about the who, what, where, when. I want a person who cares about what I care about. I need someone there who feels my memories and my moments with me.. to better tell my story. How does one tell a story well.. when they do not care about that story?
I am a story teller. Not only in words and writings.. but in moments. I love my job because it allows me to watch the most moving stories. It gives me a key to a world I may have never even have known of. I get to be in the room with a bride when she’s shaking and breathing slowly; clenching the sides of her gown and practically housing thousands of fluttering butterflies. I stand in front of the groom while he starts to hear the foot steps of his bride coming to make her reveal. I watch moms and dads admire their precious children; seen and unseen with such thankfulness and profound love that they never knew existed. I get to help you remember how tiny your new baby was in your arms, how silly your daughter was when she was 7 and how unexplainably excited you were when he asked you to spend the rest of your life with him. All the heart pounding, life changing, charming, sweet moments eventually become stories..photos help pass them on..and that is my job; to help you tell your story.
