Women of Punjab origin have always been known for their beauty. But beauty is not just skin deep. What makes a contemporary Indian woman stand apart is not just her looks - she is intelligent ... she is talented ... most of all she has her own mind.
Miss n Mrs Punjaban USA Beauty Pageant embraces Punjabi culture to showcase the best in the modern Punjaban woman.
The pageant consists of four segments - Traditional Punjabi dress, Modern Punjabi Dress, Talent and a Question & Answer session. (All the outfits for the pageant will be organised by contestants themselves.)
Who can participate?
MISS PUNJABAN USA
Any woman of Punjabi origin between the ages of 16 and 26 ... for Miss Punjaban
• The applicant is a natural born female
• The applicant is not / has not been married, and has never had a marriage or never given birth to a child; is not now pregnant nor a parent. If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify us immediately.
• You must have a talent such as but not limited to … i.e. dance, sing, act, recital etc. This needs to be explained in detail and demonstrated at the auditions.
• You will be required to attend training/grooming sessions before the pageant. Dates/Times to be announced later.
MRS PUNJABAN USA
Any woman of Punjabi origin between the ages of 21 and 45 ... for Mrs Punjaban
• The applicant is a natural born female
• The applicant has to been married ( NO DIVORCE or NO SEPARATE). If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify us immediately.
• You must have a talent such as but not limited to … i.e. dance, sing, act, recital etc. This needs to be explained in detail and demonstrated at the auditions.
• You will be required to attend training/grooming sessions before the pageant. Dates/Times to be announced later.
