  If there isnt another wall above it, it PROBABLY isnt, but still could be. I just had my whole flat gutted and renovated (lots of walls taken down and beams put in!). I used http://totalbsltd.co.uk/ The guys name is Maurice. My family have used him for years and he seems to do every bloomin house renovation in Dulwich for family friends!! He isnt the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but he is honest and trustworthy and has built his business purely on word of mouth. Beware though he is usually very very busy! If you call him I am happy for you to say that I recommended him.
