Salire Fitness offers onsite & offsite personal training, mat Pilates, group fitness classes, jogging and walking tours as well as corporate wellness services and presentations for small businesses and large convention meetings.

    Trained here for over a year and though most facility owners would be thankful to have a consistent client, Salire's owner, Nolan Ferraro, doesn't see it that way especially after you inform him you're no longer interested in working out at his establishment. If you expect your clients to give an advance termination notice, why don't you have it in writing or at least speak up? Don't have an assumption your clients are going to know everything about the PT world just because you do. And if you know your occupation is financially volatile, why are you so surprised to begin with? Again, this goes back to the "have it in writing" philosophy if you actually understand what that means. This is how I see it: if your client emails you and says they will speak to the trainer themselves and then you don't respond further, it's pretty clear that's the direction your client's going to take and you respected their wishes. Going behind their back (which you did) and stating it wasn't intentional (even though it was...words don't just accidentally spew out of our mouths) is a whole other story. And it doesn't matter when your clients speak up as long as they speak up because most clients (from what I've been told) would not even offer the courtesy. Furthermore, was it really necessary to send a long, obnoxious email calling your former client "inconsiderate," and then apologizing, but towards the end, turn the table around again and state you don't feel bad about your actions? Seriously, personal training should be about the training. Unfortunately, you decided to make it your personal conquest to be right instead of just being professional. Maybe this is one of the reasons why clients prefer to email, text or just not respond when terminating their contracts. I seriously question this person's integrity as a business owner and a so-called life coach because if you're sending out these emails, then you need to reevaluate your qualifications. P.S. you should remove the God Bless from your email signature because that's not only considered unprofessional, it's also considered inconsiderate.
