  Greetings. I was wondering anyone in the group had recommendations on mechanics or shops that they like? I've got a '94 GT that's spark knocking like there's no tomorrow. The dealer's conveniently located, but completely clueless, probably rather sell me a new one. Thought I'd take the car somewhere else and take the opportunity to get the engine really looked at.   Bob, I'm taking my wifes car to a trusted repair shop that I have been using for 15 years now, had my ranger and Mustang fixed by his shop and this friday morning were taking our galant to have the timimg belt replaced. privatly owned and fair price on work, its in oak cliff at Illinois and 35 called Factory brake center( blue building) call and talk to Johnathon at 214 946-3272. and tell him I sent ya.
