  Susan M. wrote: I waited three hours and never saw the vet. One hour in the waiting room and two in the room waiting to see this vet. This clinic is a one-man operation and he should not be a walk-in but rather make appointments so he can see everyone instead of whichever patient he chooses. It costs $50.00 to be a new patient and I walked out after three hours stating, I did not want to be a client of theirs.

  The only ortho vet that I know of (there are likely others, but I haven't ever looked for them) works for Blue Pearl in Overland Park (read: expensive). We take our dog to [Chipman Road Animal Clinic](http://chipmanroadanimalclinic.com/) in Lee's Summit. After taking our dog to Fairway Animal Hospital (super nice folks, btw), we started going to Chipman because their procedures were a fraction of the cost. Great staff, and open 8 a-12 p on Saturdays.
