About us
Welcome to A Cake to be Cupcakes. My name is Nancy and I have been baking since 2012 while living in Japan. My friends and I would gather for some family events and I always brought frosted cupcakes. Shortly after, I began doing small and fun decorations with frosting and had to upgrade to fondant when a friend requested some Spongebob cupcakes toppers for her daughter birthday. I couldn't turn her down and I really wanted to challenge myself so I took on the challenge and succeeded. A couple of adorable cupcakes later, I got my first Cake order and I was convince that it be as easy as making a cupcakes topper. That day became one of the most horrific yet amazing days in my life as I struggle to build a two tier Mermaid Cake for the first time ever. After that day, I knew baking was meant for me and I hope to accomplish so many more amazing moment by creating cakes every person will love.
