LMS Sleeping Baby Appeal
About us
LMS Sleeping Baby Appeal (formally Leon & Maddison Almond Sleeping Baby Appeal) was formed 1st March 2015.
Sleeping Baby Appeal was set up by Nicola Almond who is mum to two Angel babies Leon and Maddison. Nicola set the appeal up after having to deliver her two babies within the busy delivery suite at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral, surrounded by healthy babies being born.
Working alongside Nicola is another angel parent Nicole Abernethy. Nicole's son Steven was born sleeping at 42 weeks in February 2013.
The aim of the charity is to provide support for parents after delivering a stillborn baby or parents who have suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage or neo-natal.
LMS's current project is to provide a comfortable environment for parents by helping to build and develop the Butterfly Suite at Arrowe Park Hospital Wirral.
