  I worked with Rita and her second doula through Mother Me Inc. and had a great experience. They use to be located right across from Bloom but relocated to a different location close by. She lives near by too which was comforting!

  Attn: Mothers ~ I am looking for some feedback on hospitals (basically Northwestern & Swedish Covenant) as far as the delivery units and recommendations for an Ob/Gyn or physicians group for pregnancy. I have heard some good things about Northwestern Physicians group but nothing about Swedish. Some first hand info from those who have actually delivered at one or the other would be great. Thanks!   Send a message to mothermeinc.com; Rita (the owner) knows everything about every place in Chicago - she's been to close to 1000 births by now in Chicago - she's also a neighbor (on Leland). Or stop in and talk to Jenn Paschen at the Nest by the Rockwell stop. They are both professionals with tons of experience with the birth community here. May be a good route to go since everyone will have their own stories and birth in the US is quite political (I'll refrain with my own personal thoughts on FB!) ;) It's an adventure regardless and completely amazing.
