At the forefront of the "Retro Nouveau" scene, PROHIBITION PRODUCTIONS, instigated by composer & producer Patrick Soluri, is one of the top producers of vintage-inspired, hot jazz and swing dance events in New York City.
Since 2001 PROHIBITION PRODUCTIONS has created numerous special ticketed events and no-cover events. In 2015 we produced 60 events, 117 events in 2016, and on track for even more this year! We work with discerning venues to create custom tailored events to promote and drive sales.
PROHIBITION PRODUCTIONS diverse portfolio of events includes THE SALON, GOTHAM JAZZ CLUB, JAZZ HAUS, LE JAZZ HOT, NY HOT JAZZ FESTIVAL, LUCILLE’s JAZZ BRUNCH, DL SPEAKEASY, ROOFTOP JAZZ, FORBIDDEN CITY, INTREPID: Battle of the Big Bands, PROHIBITION SATURDAYS, SPEAKEASY SUNDAYs, DERBY, LIBERTY BELLE SPECTACULAR, and BIG BAND FIRST FRIDAYS, among others.
