We had a leak in our roof last spring and Robert C Lee of Precision Roofing came to look at it and give us an estimate on repair. The leak was on a portion that had a small slope. We asked if the pitch needed to be increased and was told no. We had a metal roof and he said the washers around the screws had dry-rotted and needed replacing. He encouraged us to replace the metal roof with a shingled one. The portion with the leak was covered with rubber rolled roofing instead of shingles. He said this would take care of leak. Over $9,400 later and the roof still leaks in the same place!! He showed up one afternoon 3 wks ago and tried a temporary fix with roofing cement because rain was coming. It leaked! He said he would be back that Fri to shingle. Did not show nor call. We text, we call, we leave messages and get no reply. When I post on his FB page, he calls and gets angry and threatens not to repair. He said I could get a lawyer and sue him and get nothing because he has nothing. (I have a voicemail message where he cussed and told me that he would not come repair my roof until I remove my FB review. I removed comments and he still has not come back. I also have text messages stating he would repair roof with shingles and lace the valley.) All I want is a roof that does not leak! The ceiling has now fallen in. Luckily, I put something down to protect my wood floors! He represented himself as a Christian man and a roofing specialist, yet he lies and doesn’t stand behind his work. He assured us he would be here this past Sat morning. We get a call at 4 pm with another excuse and assurance he would be here Mon morning. We called and texted at noon after he didn’t show, again. He texted that he would be here that day. Have not seen nor heard from him. He thinks my complaining on his FB page is messing with his livelihood! Well he has taken our hard-earned $$$ to repair a roof and it still leaks!
