  You can get B12 supplements pretty easily from Vita Health, Superstore, etc. I can't say that I've had a negative experience with doctors when it comes to me being vegan. In fact, prior to me being vegan, I had a GP (Dr. Haggard at Dakota Medical) tell me to cut out dairy altogether. My Naturopath, Dr. Deirdre Jasper, is very supportive of vegan lifestyles. She has ordered blood work for me and I paid for it. My new GP never said anything or the topic never came up. http://www.winnipegnaturopathicdoctor.ca/
