  Help getting cat spayed Looking for a good place that isn't gonna cost me a fortune to get my cat spayed the vet I started going to told me that it would cost me $650 to get her spayed and that's outrageous and something I can't afford. Anyone know a good place I could go.

  A spay doesn’t cost $650. When I lived in Galveston county, we had [Animal Alliance ](https://www.animalalliancetx.org/) for low cost spays and vaccines. I used [VCA clinics ](https://vcahospitals.com/) a chain vet clinic that is very reasonable priced for any other vet visits. They have locations all around Houston and transfer my pets’ records easily between locations. Edit: a spay for a cat at Animal Alliance was $25, but you shouldn’t have to spend more than about $100 at any vet. Sorry for the updates.
