My 3yr old has auditory sensory issues - there are a few things that set her off, but primarily it is any sound made by her 10m old brother - and now that he is becoming more vocal, she is a screaming mess a lot of the time. We have just started OT at Stones Worth Stepping, and will be starting Therapeutic Listening to see if that helps (have heard very good things about this). Anyway, EFT was suggested to me also, and I am certainly open to it, but do not feel like I know enough about it yet to have an effective impact on her. Are there any certified practitioners in the omaha area? or not necessarily certified, but better than I would be? :) I would also love any other suggestions anyone has in addition to what we are already trying.   I would try Dr Sheri Millard (she's a chiropractor who also does acupuncture & a variety of other specialties including I believe EFT). See http://www.millardwellness.com/meet-the-doctor for more about her & her specialties. We saw her for chiropractics for quite some time & really liked her! Only reason we switched was her office was too far of a drive for us.
