About us

In some cases, a painful condition may render transportation difficult or a trip to the veterinary clinic causes unwanted anxiety and fear for your beloved pet. Also, many owners find it difficult to grieve and spend meaningful last moments with their pet in a clinic environment.

Choosing at-home euthanasia allows your pet to spend the last moments at home, where he or she is most comfortable.

Therefore, when faced with end-of-life decisions, you can give yourself and your pet the gift of saying goodbye in a familiar surrounding, at home. Euthanasia provided in the privacy and comfort of your own home is a meaningful and peaceful way to celebrate your pet’s life.

If I could give 10 or 1000 stars I would!!! Keep in mind, 10-year-old German Shepherd is being euthanized in my home, an hour ago...and I'm so overcome with gratitude I had to express it somewhere. Dr. Carmen Purtscher is a professional in every sense. She made a house call at 7PM! On a Saturday!! Of a long weekend!!! During the Covid 19 fiasco!!!! Other animal hospitals are charging more, owners could not go inside and they euthanized your pet in your car???!? She graciously said that they decide when they are ready to go, and her main priority is comfort for the patient and owner together. My dog, a best friend fell asleep peacefully listening to her favorite song with her parents touching her. Others can do the same procedure, but the art is in the empathy, engagement, and conversation. The process in a sterile vet clinic, while accomplishing the goal, is a mechanism of numbers lacking personalization. It is mostly anxiety, confusion, financial burden, and overwhelming loss. Dr. Purtscher's procedure allowed for goodbyes resolved lingering doubts and MOST IMPORTANTLY started the process of closure. I have as many THANK YOUs as tears right now..when was the last time you could say that after going to the hospital.
