About us
There is more to ballet than dancing……
Your child will benefit from improved concentration and confidence, posture and poise, flexibility and fitness, as well as making new friends and discovering the joy of movement.
We help each pupil gain as much benefit and enjoyment as possible from the classes. Pupils are given individual help and encouragement to develop imagination, self-confidence and dance quality as well as technique and musicality. An experienced pianist accompanies all classes.
We offer pupils the opportunity to come once a week to gain a love of dance, as well as the opportunity to take ‘Cecchetti’ ballet exams through the I.S.T.D. examining board, and take part in auditions.
We have had success with pupils at our London branches being accepted for the ‘Cecchetti Associates’, The ‘Royal Ballet Associates’, ‘London Children’s Ballet’ and ‘The English Youth Ballet’. We have also entered pupils for the ‘Cecchetti Mabel Ryan Awards’, ‘The Southern Area Awards’ and the ‘Cecchetti Choreographic Competition’.
