  Woke up to one of my recessed lights dripping water in my kitchen. I also have a bunch of shingles that have blown off and a corner that blows up with heavy wind. Have video of that. Can anyone recommend a roofing company, or possibly let me know the chances something like this would be covered by insurance? Do I need to call my insurance about this prior to talking to a roofing company? I'm a newer homeowner so I'm not very knowledgeable. Thank you

  We used Shawn Foster and we were happy. 513-405-4752 I would definitely contact insurance and see if they'd cover it, but keep in mind that once you have a claim, it can raise your insurance rates. I've also heard that they're putting different deductibles, or exclusions on roofing damage now, too.
