Yesterday I saw a woman in a wheelchair in the parking lot of a gas station or mechanic shop (I can't remember which) next to the Rescue Mission Reading Room on 273. From the looks of it she'd been left there, all her belongings were boxed up next to her. The owner of the shop was on the phone trying to figure out what to so about her. Well just now I passed by there again and she's STILL there! Someone moved her out of the rain, but this is terrible!! Shouldn't adult protective services or something be called? How could someone leave a person outside who can't get themselves around?
