I work in WeHo and just went to a guy there by my work on Santa Monica Blvd. (I just used Yelp for the closest eye doctor and picked a nice sounding name with decent reviews--I mean, how else are you gonna do it?). Then, I refused to look at their glasses (No thanks! Gotta go!) and took my Rx to the Warby Parker Boutique at The Standard on Sunset Blvd. (you can also do this online, but valet IS free with validation from Warby Parker, and it's better to try the damn glasses on than choose from an uploaded picture of yourself wearing them). I picked a pair of glasses. With my Rx and A/R coating--the whole nine--it was $99. Warby Parker has mostly vintage replica glasses for either $99 or $149. They. Fucking. Rock. Do it.
