  Whitney A. wrote: Ditched my daughter on her 9th birthday cake and cookies and made her cry. Planned it for months ahead of time, checked in throughout the week for designs and 3 days later she completely cold turkied us and wouldn’t respond. All the bakeries were booked because of graduations and we had to settle for a frozen cake from the grocery store. No time to even decorate or write her name on it. It was really sad. We used her for 4 years as our family baker on and off prior and had similar experiences other times of not being able to reach her, but thought she had grown from that. I saw her at one point on instagram that she had “seen” my message and began to type back and then I received no response which was more baffling. It would have been respectful to tell me she overbooked herself or couldn’t do it instead of leaving me to the morning of her birthday party to ditch us! It really depressed me on a day that was suppose to be beautiful and exciting. It was unbelievable.
