  Hi all, My husband and I are looking for recommendations for a contractor (or perhaps a handyperson) to do a few smallish jobs on our condo: replacing the carpeting in our finished basement with waterproof/water resistant wood flooring; adding in a new sump pump to our unfinished basement; adding a bannister to the stairs to our finished basement; and also retiling our upstairs bathroom. When I searched the List for contractors, it seemed many recommendations were for bigger projects, and when I've been contacting contractors on my own, it seems that our projects may be too small in total for a contractor to offer us a quote. Maybe I am contacting the wrong kind of person to work on these projects? Any advice or recommendations for a contractor or handyperson who isn't too busy would be welcome!
