About us
I think it's kind of nice to know a bit more about the person behind the scenes/posting all the pics/ & how they came about setting up so here it is.
I'm Leigh, 37 years old, married to Tom (a bus driver), I have two bubbas Rae (2) & Jesse (6 months) & I have older step-children too . We're normal folk.
Initially a working city girl, I packed up & went travelling at 30. Came back & met the man of my dreams (ahhh). Had a career path change & went into a fulfilling role working with children with special needs. Been doing that since with a couple of variations in role. Love it.
My creative side has been building up over the years from a gentle knock knock to a full blown 'Let me out of here' & so here I am. Having forever loved all things spotty & buttons being my kryptonite this was the way to go.
I work this around my babies & my husband's shifts. I'm an early bird & a night owl alike. Cue lots of coffee.
My hopes - that people like what they see & it's apparent to them the thought & care taken in handmaking my items.
My dreams - that I experience success to a level that I may continue to produce my work & have the scope to create the ideas which are overspilling onto bits of paper everywhere (napkins, envelopes, Rae's sketch pads, my 'ideas' book, iphone notes app etc).
The button art frames I create & I also make them bespoke & can personalise too. I love to get requests & spin from there.
