  Aetna Vital Savings is a dental and vision discount plan. They are accepted at participating providers, mainly the same ones that take Aetna insurance. My dentist and ortho and eye doctor all take it. We pay $10.91 per month for the entire family to be covered. It discounts according to the Aetna PPO rates so I have found that I paid about the same as I would with my old dental insurance (which we dropped when we got this plan) but the premiums are so much better. AND it covers braces. The first month I signed up, i had paid $10.91 in premium and my son got braces that month, saving me over $1500. I was elated since our dental insurance through my husband's work did not cover orthodontics. As I said, it also covers vision...my son's contact exam was half the usual and his contacts were too.   You know who is turning out to be huge losers in Obamacare? Dentists. Obamacare doesn't cover dental. I'm not sure you can even buy dental coverage through Obamacare. Somebody needs new lobbyists.
