  Does anyone know of a good Internist or GP in Northern California...San Fran to Redding, say? I'd relocate to southern Oregon if there's a good doc there. I have tried a few here, found that clearly the large provider groups like Mercy and UC Davis are not for me. The allergist tried to give me a steroid inhaler because "you can't react to steroids" and the environmental doc distanced himself from the MCS diagnosis, all but saying it doesn't exist. I can't afford to keep paying doctor bills when nothing ever gets done except them looking at me like I'm a nut. Any suggestions??

  Actually, I think Dr. Shrader practiced in HI for many years. He has a website http://www.drshrader.com/. And he does do phone consultations. So does Erica Elliott, who is equally wonderful. I'd highly recommend both of these docs to anyone. They've both had EI and most of their practice is devoted to that.

  Your best best would probably be someone who's board certified in environmental medicine, such as Dr. Shrader and Erica Elliott in Santa Fe. These people understand MCS/EI in a way most traditional western docs do not and they won't consider you a nut because they understand what's going on in your body. I don't know of a specific doctor in southern OR (tho you could Google). But I will say that just about all my MCS symptoms vanished when I lived there. I found it to be an extremely healthy environment.
