  Help! I need someone that can replace our upstairs a/c unit (it is completely dead). A guy came out and repaired the unit before we bought the house, and he was a rip-off. Within a year, there was a leak, it was out of Freon and there was water damage on much of our ceiling. He came out again and changed the pan underneath the unit in the attic (with my help, which he insisted he needed and when I wasn't capable enough, I was told to call someone over to help him), complained about the drive time to come here for literally as long as it took him to drive it, he really didn't smell too very great and that was a bummer but I could deal if the air started pumping again, gave no information about further damages and charged a ton of money. The unit was supposedly under warranty for the next year after that but after making many calls to no avail, I decided I didn't want him to work on another thing in my home ever again. Within the year, the entire unit met its death in the middle of the summer and we have been in mourning of cool air on hot days since. Mr. A/C just A.in't C.ooling! In summary, I need someone that is HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY and willing to replace the unit (with parts and labor) for a reasonable amount of money. Summer is coming quick and my children don't like it when I'm burning up and fussy - I don't like it either. Also, as is fitting any time that a large expense is upon us, our washing machine joined ole' A.in't C.ooling in the grave and we need to purchase a new one. If this isn't the place for that, then please do let me know admin! If either of these things is something that is up your alley, please do feel inclined to let me know!
