BROADLAND RESORT is located in Kitulagala neighbouring Ginigathhena. 4.5km away from the kitulgala town. You can arrive to the resort with ease as carpeted roadways with breathtaking surroundings from little London Nuwaraeliya(72km) or capital city Colombo(96Km).
Broadland Resort is designed and built with self contained facilities for your relaxation and recreation. The facility covers an area o
f nearing 50 acres of lush land.
As u enter u can sense the fruity aroma from the well grown fruits and feast your eyes on the beauty of natural flowers and the elevated bumps of our own tea plantation.
BROADLAND ESTATE is a tea estate which naturally absorbs natures beauty and tranquility. Workers quarters are situated on convenient location providing privacy from and to our guests. From the near distance you can hear the rushing white waters of Kitulgala river.
The HERITAGE BUNGALOW which consists of fully facilitated 6 bedrooms stands proudly facing the mountain steeps and blending with nature. Bungalow can comfortably host up to 15 adult guests. When u wake up from your peaceful night's sleep in the broadlands and open your window to the natural surrounding you will be greeted with the birds singing and treated the first vision of the day with ever transforming mist patterns.
The facility is also equipped with swimming pool(opens up to nature with private serving area\changing rooms\kiddies pool).
The kind of trees you find here is amazing. Biggest trees like Jack, Breadfruit, Teak, Mango, Avocado, Rambutan and even durian. And from the biggest trees to the smallest herb plants like Ranwara and Polpala. Even the Coconut trees hides in the shadows of the Majestic Teak Tree.
You will experience how every time different kinds of mist formations pass you by every time.
