  DC based folks. Need one of you to put me in touch with a lawyer who would give some pro-bono legal help. A very nice homeless lady is currently being detained by the mental health services under the guise of "getting her off the street". This is apparently routine practice in DC. We are going to try to pick her up from the hospital, if they will release her. If someone knows a DC homeless advocate, or has advice on the matter, let me know. In addition, if anyone wants to publicize the really unfortunate effects of a supposedly benign program, also contact me.
