Marc J. Beshar, DMD
About us
Dr Beshar’s talents have been featured in many publications including The New York Times, INC Magazine, Newsweek, and Working Woman. In 1990, he was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), an organization dedicated to continuing dental education. He has completed the Aesthetic Dentistry Residency at Louisiana State University, The Dawson Master’s Forum in Florida, and the eight levels of the Kois Center for Restorative Excellence in Seattle, Washington, where he is a Clinical Instructor.
He has had extensive training in Implant Dentistry at the New York University Implant Training Center, with Dr. Carl Misch of The Misch International Implant Institute, with Dr. Norm Ickert at the Ickert Dental Implant Centre, with Dr. Keith Phillips and Dr. John Kois at the Kois Institute as well as many other courses in bone grafting and computer generated technology to aid in implant placement and aesthetic ceramic crowns and veneers.
Besides teaching at the Pankey Institute and The Kois Center, he has lectured at NYU, Columbia Dental School, and local study clubs. He is the founder and currently the President of the Manhattan Kois Study group and the Past President of the Columbia Study Club. He regularly attends meetings and teaches other dentists.
