About us
Our goal when we opened the shop in 1998 was to offer a full service tackle shop that is often imitated but never duplicated. We wanted to stock only the best tackle that is proven and available, along with expert advice and knowledge.
Keith Knecht is the resident rod repairperson. He takes pride in the fact that sometimes he cannot tell which guide he replaced on a rod, except by the fact that it is new and shiny. His artistic flair is apparent in his custom rods. He takes pride in building a rod that is custom made and measured for each individual person. You’ll see him checking his work with a magnifying glass.
We proudly accept the title one of our loyal customers gave us a while back, “the Cracker Barrel” of tackle shops. Come on in and chat a while and let’s get some fishing stories going. Remember, "if we don’t have it, we’ll order it
