  Ameet J. wrote: Excellent Pre-Sales service. AWFUL, NON-EXISTENT post sales experience. We had our system installed about 3 months ago. The pre sales service is excellent. They went out of their way to ensure that we were kept abreast of what the ETA was for installation and they answered all of our questions. The installation went off without a hitch. Last month one of the Mitsubishi units started putting out very bad odors. We called them and they sent a technician over. He was here for less than 15 minutes and he left, explaining that he could find nothing wrong and would need to have CareFree call Mistsubishi for help. That was two weeks ago and they have never called me back with an update. I have called twice and have been promised a call back which never materialised. Today they told me that they cannot do anything until Mitsubishi gets back to them, and that Mitsubishi is very busy!! So, in effect, I am sitting here with 1/3rd of my system inoperable and CareFree wont do anything to fix my problem. Please pay careful attention to the contract before you sign it. CAREFREE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They do care about your $$$

  Our A/C (window) broke. We think its the compressor because the starter is working. Is there an air conditioner repairman that someone can recommend? Would anyone be familiar with ductless a/c as an alternative and have a recommendation on who to call? Do we need a permit for ductless a/c? Shame... we just installed these Friedrich a/c units last year.
