Best Bow Ties will be your absolute last stop, if you're looking for a unique, hand-made, high quality, 100% silk bow tie. Every tie is custom made and ALL materials are AUTHENTIC QUALITY TIE-GRADE SILKS, unless otherwise specified. The most unique quality about my ties is that it's made for someone who can self tie and someone who hasn't quite mastered the steps of tying a bow tie yet. Every tie has a button(s) and button holes in the back, so it can be adjusted, taken off, and put on without having to untie and tie it every single time. Another unique quality that I think sets Best Bow Ties apart, is my choice of fabrics. As with most clothing items, natural fibers are generally better, versus man made fibers. They tend to last longer, hold their shape longer, and look richer. Therefore, most of my ties are 100% natural/raw silk, 100% cotton, or 100% wool. All natural fibers. If I do use a man made material, it'll be of a nice quality. I take great pride in my workmanship because I'm all about the details. Another unique quality is the vintage feel of my fabrics. I love a nice vintage paisley or repetitious print, with muted rich colors. That's my personal taste, but I believe there is no such thing as an ugly bow tie.
I've been sewing for over 20 years and I have finally found my niche with bow ties. I started making my own bow ties because, at that time, they weren't so popular and/or in every department store; they weren't nearly as accessible as they are now. So, since I wanted something unique, I had to create it. Every time I wore one of my own creations, the compliments and comments were overwhelming and Best Bow Ties was created.
People have asked; Do I make traditional neck ties? Why don't I make matching pocket squares? Do I make ties for children/women? Do I sell wholesale or in bulk? At this point, I ONLY specialize in creating high quality limited edition bow ties. In most cases, I'm not apt to make the same tie more than once, as I usually only... show more get enough material for one tie. (Sidebar-> we don't want to MATCH a pocket square. Instead, we want to COORDINATE a pocket square) With that said, you probably won't see a tie that you get from me, on another's neck.
I love taking an old neck tie and re-purposing it as a bow tie, and I'll do the same for you. I've taken some of the nicest designer neck ties and worked my magic. Whether it's a Ralph Lauren, Emilio Pucci, Gucci, Versace, Coogi, Hilfiger, D&G, Burberry, Givency, YSL, Missoni, Jhane Barnes, Ted Baker, Ike Behar, Roberto Cavalli, or J.C. Penney, I'll cut it!!!
To keep it simple, MOST of my ties are $30, I do PayPal, and I'll ship anywhere!!!!
