About us
Flavia’s Magical Domestic Cleaning & Cooking is a local company operated by the owner and her team. Our specialty is cleaning & cooking. We provide regular cleaning services that you would expect, however, our team consists of specialized housekeepers who can enhance the services offered by providing laundry, ironing, changing your bedding or cleaning your refrigerator, for example. We are fully insured and all of our housekeepers are bonded. Our employees also undergo a police criminal background check prior to being hired.
Our cooking services can be added on as needed basis by an our Italian-trained Chef. We can either prepare one meal for your family or we also create meal plans for the entire week. Cooking will be done in your home.
For every new client, Flavia travels to your home for an in-person meeting with your family to discuss your family’s specific priorities. From there, a customized priority checklist is developed that can be adjusted by the home owner from week to week for inclusions or exclusions.
We clean in a team of three ladies so we are in and out of your house in a relatively short period of time so as to not inconvenience your family.
We have excellent references from our current client list and are happy to provide those for your review.
We are also pet and children friendly.
We currently serve all of Dartmouth, Cole Harbour, Bedford and Halifax. Locations outside of these areas are available but there will be an additional charge to cover transportation costs and time lost in travel.
We are available from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekend appointments are available but there is an extra charge for that service.
