  What are some good farmer markets in Tucson? I see a lot online but which are the good ones? We are new to Tucson (we live in Vail), so I'm still learning where to shop for good produce, preferably organic and affordable. Normally I would grow most of my vegetables but I'm very new to desert gardening! I'm reading your posts, good books, and trying my hand at container gardening (until we move out of the rental and buy a house so I can plant in the ground). Until I am successful at gardening again, I am looking for good places to buy produce. Suggestions?

  The Santa Cuz Farmers Market at eh Augustin Mercado on Thursday afternoons is very nice, easy parking, and many farms and whole food vendors participate. Anyone have any suggestions on where to find something big enough to fit my garden. Only thing I have found thus far is burlap but it is 3' by 24'.
