  Andy D. wrote: Terrible. Stripped, papered and painted most of house. Really poor prepping resulting in multiple lumps under wallpaper in all rooms. Poor painting and also careless resulting in splashes of paint on furniture etc. Cut and run on last day asking for payment via bank transfer when we weren't there. Trusted that he'd checked over everything and stuck down loose ends, smoothed bubbled paper, touched up missed bits of paint.... But no. It appeared he clocked off early probably to do another job. Also left house in an unbelievable mess. Any professional decorator worth their salt would have had more pride in their work. He was only interested in using us as a cash cow. Should have sacked him after first couple of days but we'd just moved in house and had all sorts of things to sort out with it. Mistakenly hoped he'd come good. Last thing we needed was to have to get someone else at such short notice. After complaints all correspondence was from his wife and not him also containing weird statements and excuses.
