About us
Gourmet Music provides a selection of live bands, catering for all types of events. The bands are led by Leeds based trombonist & vocalist, Matt Ball.
With a musical career firmly rooted in Jazz, Swing, Pop and Motown, Matt has handpicked the best musicians he works with, from bands such as Jamiroquai, John Legend and the BBC’s The Voice, to be part of Gourmet Music.
Members of the groups are based in Leeds, Manchester & London and we cover events in the most popular and prestigious venues over the whole of the UK (and around the world when we get the chance). Gourmet Music is currently the preferred music supplier for weddings and events at Wentbridge House, West Yorkshire.
BRIDESHEAD BALLROOM STOMPERS
In 2007 Matt was asked to form a dance band to feature in the movie-adaptation of Brideshead Revisited (2008), starring in the famous ballroom scene filmed at Castle Howard. The aptly named 'Brideshead Ballroom Stompers' provide a show that brings something totally unique to your event. Specialising in the 'Jazz Age' music of the 1920s and the 'Swing Music' of the 1930's, the band takes all the elegance and humour of the British pre-war era, performing well-known songs in their original style.
GOURMET JAZZ
The Gourmet Jazz Trio will bring that touch of class to your event. Whether it's an outdoor drinks reception in the sun, or around the fire on a cold winter's night, the jazz trio will create the atmosphere you require, ideal for drinks receptions, dinner jazz and wedding ceremonies.
GOURMET SWING
Gourmet Swing is the ideal swing band for your forthcoming event. With our extensive repertoire we will work with you to tailor an entertainment package that suits your requirements.With a selection of jazz, swing, jive and popular covers, performing classics from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Michael Bublé, through to the soulful sounds of Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Michael Jackson, Gourmet Swing guarantees to fill the dance floor with an evening of 'swinging'... show more entertainment.

Whether it's an outdoor drinks reception in the sun, or around the fire on a cold winter's night, Gourmet Stringswill create the atmosphere you require. With an extensive repertoire of classical, jazz and popular music the group is ideal for drinks receptions, playing during a dinner or for a wedding ceremonies.
SOLO ACTS AND DUETS
Gourmet Music offers a selection of Solo Acts and Duos that will bring that touch of class to any event, of any size. Whether it's a ceremony, a drinks reception, a special celebration, a charity event or a corporate dinner or drinks, our Solo acts or Duos will create the atmosphere you require at the volume you require.
