About us
Hello!!! My name is Kennedy Powell! First off THANK YOU so much for your interest in Kennedy Powell Photography! I am sure you could have picked a ton of other talented photographers, thanks for getting to know a little bit about me :)
I am originally from Johnson City Texas (45 minutes West of Austin).
I have been known as a “photographer “since about 2009. I have shot many different types of photography in the years, but I am in love with newborns sessions!
I am constantly on the hunt for new ideas and something that can push my camera skills. Each session is a completely different challenge to me, and I enjoy getting to learn more and more everyday.
I have a amazing husband & we currently live in the North East Dallas area. We have a boy and a little girl that you may meet at your session or even see on my page! They are too little to get tired of the camera in their face... but I am sure that time is around the corner :)
I love animals, and used to work at a zoo so I know all sorts of interesting facts (ask me one day).
I enjoy one of a kind ANYTHING . If you can make it your own and do it different … it draws me in! I really have a passion for meeting new people and giving them a great experience when they book with me.
Over time I have noticed I am natural light photographer. I love to take photos either early in the morning or right when the sun starts to fade down. The lighting is such a key element when it comes to taking photos. I am always looking for new locations to shoot at as well!
